Notes:
A marathon is a race of specific distance of 26.2 miles (~42k).
A "Ironman 70.3" is also known as a half-Ironman, where 70.3 miles is the combined distance of the swim(1.2M), bike(56M), an run (13.1M). A full Ironman, which I have not completed, is twice that at 140.6 total miles.
